The Center for Asia Pacific Future Studies at Kyushu University (CAFS) shall hold the 2nd Kyudai Asian Studies Seminars in cooperation with School of Economics, Kyushu University.

Kyudai Asian Studies Seminars are occasional talks and featuring lectures by visiting scholars, and this time, Professor In Koo Cho ( University of Illinois ) is going to deliver a lecture “Deconstructing US Inflation”.

*Professor In-Koo Cho is William Kinkead Distinguished Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois. He is one of the leading economists involved in game theory and microeconomic theory research and has been a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the most prestigious academic society in the field of Economics, since 2002. His name is well known as one of the authors of “Signaling Games and Stable Equilibria” (with David M. Kreps, Quarterly Journal of Economics, 1987), one of the most essential references in the textbooks of advanced microeconomics.
